Mastering Style Changeover in Garment Production: A Game-Changer!
🚀 Mastering Style Changeover in Garment Production: A Game-Changer!

Efficient Style Changeover (SCO) is critical for maintaining high productivity, minimal downtime, and consistent quality in garment manufacturing.
🔹 Key Highlights of the SOP:
✅ Pre-setup (External Activities): Tasks planned before the line stops to reduce delays.
✅ Post-setup (Internal Activities): Completing internal setup within 2 hours max for garments up to 15 SAM.
✅ SCO Time Target: Less than 5 x SAM, with optimized machine setups to minimize variations.
✅ Team Presence at First Output: QAM, IE, PM/FM, Supervisors, and QC must validate the first bundle.
✅ Visual Displays for Clarity: Trim cards, measurement charts, workstation numbers, and mock-up samples at every station.
✅ Line Stability: No operator changes after setup; absenteeism is managed using floater operators.
✅ KANBAN for Lot Tracking: Every 300-piece lot is tracked through sewing, checking, AQL, pressing, and packing.
✅ Accountability at Every Level: Clear roles for Quality, IE, Supervisors, Operators, and Management.
✅ Zero-tolerance SOP: Deviations must be immediately corrected—no exceptions!
This structured and data-driven approach ensures a smooth transition between styles, increasing efficiency and reducing bottlenecks. 📈
